About the Model of Jaw Crusher

    The model of jaw crusher is indicated by the width and the length of the feed port. For example, PE900x1200 jaw crusher means that it has 900 mm width and 1200 mm long feed port.

   Feed opening width greater than 600 mm can be defined as large scale jaw crusher (for example PE750x1060); for feed opening width of 300-600 mm, they are medium ones (for example PE500x750); if feed opening width is less than 300 mm, we call it small jaw crusher (for example PE250x400).

   The maximum feeding size of jaw crusher should be smaller than 15%-20% of the feed opening width, i.e. it is about 80%-85% of the feed opening width. For example, the maximum feeding size of PE500x750 jaw crusher is 425mm only.
