How to Adjust the Vertical Slope of Belt Conveyor?
Belt conveyor is also known as elevating conveyor belt, which is a common kind of conveying equipment. There are horizontal conveyor, vertical conveyor, tilted conveyor and other conveying equipment. Its belt is supported by the fast rotation of rollers and bearings to transfer materials on the belt to other feeding devices steadily so as to move to the next step.
Belt conveyor will cause uneven phenomena in different locations during its installation process, which is because of its uneven roadway plate. Therefore, the entire belt bearing will focus on individual rollers. When the materials are transferred in large amount, it is likely to cause excessive overloading and damage to the equipment, which may affect its smooth operation. So the vertical slope of belt conveyor needs to be dealt with, as well as the plate, which must be adjusted to the convex curve state. More groups of loaded rollers should be added to the stress-concentrated positions to ensure enough contact of the entire belt and each group of rollers, which will not only reduce the stress, but also ensure a reasonable vertical slope of the belt to prevent it from flipping.
The adjustment and installation of belt conveyor is also very important, we must operate it in strict accordance with the appropriate instruction. Otherwise, it may cause partial operation, flipping or other failures of the belt.
